Fifth episode " Jeem "
Welcome everyone again in Teaching Arabic To Foreigners .. Today we 're going to talk about the fifth letter in Arabic language " Geem or Jeem " we pronounce it abstracted Geem or Jeem but in words " G or J " it corresponds G or J in English ..
Ok now let us 've a look on screen and notice how we write it .. in fact in Arabic there 're letters belongs to same family and look like each other a lot like ب – ت – ث and there 's now another family ج is one of them ..
Well it consists of a head with a point below it and a bow abstracted .. we 'll c it in the beginning like جمل >> camel without its bow as we c here .. and in the middle like نجح >> succeed also without its bow but in the end like ثلج >> ice it keeps its bow and if preceded it a long Aleph one the vowels as we studied can't relate it like تاج >> crown so it keeps the bow here also ..
جمل ثلج تاج
crown ice camel
